Pricing
Flat rate vs Tiered vs Interchange-Plus
Having several different options, we have a solution to match your vision for your company.
We have provided a brief explanation of the three options below.
Our most popular option is the Dual Pricing program due to the savings.
Flat Rate: Dual Pricing – eliminates 100% of the processing fees from the business. Easy to understand, consistent monthly charges. A single rate charged to all cards.
All fees are paid by the card-paying customers at a rate of 4% regardless of card type.
Ex: 4.00% + $.00 per transaction
Tiered: Transactions are grouped into “tiers”. The processor decides which transactions fall into each tier based on card type and how the payment is accepted. Simple to understand, potentially low rates for qualified, basic cards. Lack of transparency, high fees on "non-qualified" (rewards/corporate) cards. Business owner pays all the processing fees.
Ex: 2.29% + $.08 per transaction
Interchange Plus: Interchange (card network cost) + Fixed Markup (processor fee). More complex, unpredictable monthly fees. Business owner pays all the processing fees.
Ex: 2.59% + $.08 per transaction
